Top quality, late 19th century, French Bronze Sculpture entitled “Le Siffleur” (Whistling Boy) modelled as a young boy whistling, standing with his hands in pockets. Nicely detailed to include even stitching to his pants. Signed in the cast by Vaclav Szczeblewski, dated 1889, with foundry stamp “Bronze garanti au titre, LV deposee” and with stamped number 2505. Excellent condition throughout, some typical age related wear to high points. 41cm(H) x 12.5cm diameter. 3.65kgs
