A cased pair of English 19th Century 25 Bore Percussion Cap Duelling / Officer's Pistols by William Chance & Son of London (1830 - 1860). Each with sighted 21.5cm octagonal brown twist barrel, the top flat engraved 'London', with gilt and platinum lines, foliate engraved tang, the blued back action lock plate signed and engraved with foliage. The walnut half stock with nickel fore-end tip and escutcheon, with blued steel ramrod pipes and foliate engraved trigger guard with pineapple finial, with ebony ramrods, one with brass screw cap. In a mahogany case, the the brown velvet lined interior fitted with accessories including a copper pistol powder flask, a steel bullet mould, tin of percussion caps, lead balls, and a cleaning rod with brass screw top.
