Fine quality bronze figure of a Suffolk Punch horse produced by the renowned Morris Singer Foundry, London in 1976. The polished brass plaque to the front reads ‘Thomas Gainsborough 1727-1788’ and there is a polished brass plaque under the base which reads ‘Modelled by Gainsborough 1746 owned by John Constable (1776-1837) Cast 1976.’ There is a Morris Singer Foundry, London, stamp on the base and it is numbered 8/500.
