This antique white Grainger vase, modelled as a woven basket set in a tree stump, was produced in 1899.
The vase bears the pattern number G870 and Grainger's "Royal China Works Worcester" backstamp with date letter "I" for 1899.
Grainger had by this time had been bought out by Royal Worcester but was still manufacturing in its old premises.
The vase measures 8.8 cm (3.4") in diameter, and it stands 11 cm (4.4") tall.
All measurements are approximate.
The vase is in very good condition with no cracks, crazing or restoration noted. There is however a small chip to the underside edge of one of the tree stump feet.
