An absolutely stunning english paleolithic period honey coloured flint hand axe.
This item which dates to circa 45-40,000BC, is exceptionally rare.
Of museum quality with a well defined cutting edge this large piece is the real deal.
With a large amount of white cortex still present this has a colour and patination all on it's own and would look superb in any collection.
Found in North Yorkshire in the late 1960s.
Ex Private collection.
As with all of my antiquities and coins this item comes complete with a certificate of authenticity.
