A superb set of six sterling silver coffee spoons from the Art Deco period.
Hallmarked Sheffield 1923 by makers John Round & Son Ltd.
The term 'Art Deco' originates from the Exposition Internationale des Art Décoratifs et Industriels Modernes held in Paris in 1925. Although this is where the style was first exhibited it had been developing for some time before then.
These spoons have an attractive geometric style of decoration very much in keeping with the Art Deco period.
In excellent condition and with no monogram or initials.
Ready to be used, perhaps with other tableware of the same period, displayed or added to a collection.
