A very good quality and fully conserved roman vine pruning sickle blade.
This item which dates to circa 2nd -3rd century AD, is in excellent allover condition.
It would have been used to remove grapes from the vine and prune the small vines.
With a typical turned over handle tang terminal.
The Roman had vineyards in England and we're able to produce wine in quantity...
