A fabulous quality pair of Elizabethan period carved oak panels ,showing a lady working.
These items which date to circa the mid 16th century AD, are in wonderful original condition .
They have a stunning original patination to wood and show evidence of where they were originally mounted into a large piece of period furniture.
These pieces are from an old collection and come complete with their old blue hanging boards on which they are simply suspended.
They are deeply carved and show good simple detail and form.
