A very well styled medieval period porcelain shipwreck dish. This piece which was salvaged from the wreck of the Hoi -An, dates to circa 1480 AD. It still retains its original auction house stickers and is in superb condition. The wreck was discovered in 1999 off the coast of Vietnam in the south China seas in a typhoon area known as the Dragon Sea.This item is free from restoration and repair and is of excellent quality.
