A very fine quality roman military bronze lunular belt mount.

This item which dates yo circa 1st century AD,is in excellent allover condition.

It is decorated with an animals head terminal as can be seen and is further complimented by a fabulous green patination to the bronze.

This piece would have been mounted on a Roman soldiers waist belt as a symbol of good luck and fortune.

Size 5.0 x 4.0 CM.
