A Large Roman Bronze Cloak Pin.

A very fine quality and heavy roman decorated bronze cloak pin .

This item which dates to circa 3rd -4th century AD, is in excellent allover condition.

It shows a plain shaft with a splayed mellon head surmounted by a large onion terminal.

A very robust piece with good style and form.

Ex. Hertfordshire excavations in the 1970s.
