A Large Medieval Period Shipwreck Dish..

A very nice quality early medieval shipwreck dish.This item which is from the byzantine period ,dates to circa 10th century AD.It was recovered many years ago from a byzantine shipwreck and still retains some of the sea bed concretions as shown.
On the inner surface of the dish some design and glaze is still present , on what is a very rare item.

As with all of my antiquities and coins this item comes complete with a acertificate of authenticity.
