A very large medieval period Iron Buckle. This item which dates to circa 15th Century AD, is in excellent fully conserved condition.
It has simple decoration in the form of an openwork heart. This piece is likely to have been from a waist belt or possibly a pack horse retaining belt.It is likely however that the heart motif was part of a noblemans coat of arms .
A rare Thames foreshore find in 1970s.
As with all of my antiquities and coins this item comes complete with a certificate of authenticity. Period style: Medieval Dimension: 10.7 x 5.8 CM Item location: In the Centre
