A Group Of Four Stone Age Flint Scrapers And One Arrow Head.reference no SN11215
A very high quality group of four stone age neolithic period flint scrapers and one arrow head.
These items which date to circa 3000BC, are in wonderful original condition.
The scrapers were used by Neolithic man to seperate the skins of dead animals from the carcass.
They show good knapped rounded edges and some good signs of secondary flaking.
Ex. Private collection.
Found in excavations in Kent in the late 1970s.
As with all of my antiquities and coins this item comes complete with a display box together with a certificate of authenticity.
