Vintage 1970's ring set with an oval mixed cut Australian sapphire weighing an estimated 3.50cts. Surrounded by eighteen brilliant cut diamonds, six weighing an estimated 0.08ct with two smaller, each weighing an estimated 0.025ct, between. Total diamond content estimated as 0.80ct. The cluster measures 15.4mm x 14.5mm. Mounted in 18ct yellow gold with yellow gold rub over setting to the sapphire and white gold grain settings to the diamonds. No hallmark but tested to confirm.
