Edwardian silver inkwell in the form of a James 1 spice box, shell-shaped with border of beaded tongue motifs, on four snail feet, the hinged cover realistically formed as a shell, the end chased with a sea creature amidst waves, with detachable cover and glass inkwell. Makers marks for Sebastian Garrard and retailer marks for R & S Garrard & co, Haymarket, London, 1901. 15oz (Excluding glass inkwell)
