William IV silver inkstand with two cut glass inkwells, central chamberstick holder, match holder and snuffer. Of shaped, rectangular, form with leaf and scroll border. Raised on four bracket feet. The chamberstick holder is removable.

In excellent order with light surface wear. Minor nibble to the base of one cut glass inkwell. Repaired split to the silver mount of one inkwell.

The inkstand, chamberstick holder and snuffer are hallmarked for Sheffield 1837. The mounts for the two cut glass inkwells are hallmarked for Sheffield 1845. Everything has the maker's mark for Henry Wilkinson & Co of Sheffield.
