This plain silver sauce boat features a crimped edge, a curled open handle with bright cut decoration, and it stands on three paw feet.
The sauce boat is fully hallmarked for Sheffield 1926, and carries the maker's mark for James Deakin & Sons. All the hallmarks are crisp and clear. The sauce boat also carries a further design registration (?) or retailer's code (?) mark of "H8751½"
The sauce boat is 13 cm (5") long and stands 6 cm (2.25") tall - these measurements do not include the handle. It weighs 70g. All measurements are approximate.
The sauce boat is in good overall condition. There is overall light surface scratching commensurate with age. There are a couple of very shallow and very hard to spot dents to the underside.
