Georgian, George III, set of four silver gilt dishes with reeded rims and two different crests. Two of the dishes feature the crest of a knight wielding an axe above a knight's helmet with plumes of feathers to either side. It's a stunning crest. These two dishes also feature a monogram of the letter L. The other two dishes feature a crest of the mythical cockatrice beast.
Condition is very good with some surface wear and scratching, along with gilt loss. No dents, splits, or repairs.
Each is hallmarked for London 1800 by Robert Hennell I & David Hennell II.
