George III sterling silver wine funnel with stylish outer ribs to form a bell-shaped body. The detachable strainer has a gadroon border and pattern-shaped draining holes. The funnel has been hand engraved with the letters JC. It is hallmarked London 1810 the maker's mark has been rubbed with only the first letter showing T. The condition of the funnel is very good for its age it has minor bruises around the body and the hanging ring is missing it is 6" tall and 3.1/4" in diameter and weigh's 136 grams ( 4.7 oz)
