This antique Grainger bowl, modelled as a lettuce/cabbage, was produced in 1901. The bowl bears the pattern number G638 and Grainger's "Royal China Works Worcester" backstamp with date letter "K" for 1901. Grainger had by this time had been bought out by Royal Worcester but was still manufacturing in its old premises.
The bowl measures 13 cm (5.1") in diameter at its widest, 7 cm (2.8") in diameter at its opening, and it stands 9.5 cm (3.6") tall. All measurements are approximate.
The bowl is in very good condition with no chips, cracks, crazing or restoration noted. There are a few internal stain spots.
