A boxed Moorcroft pin dish in the Lily Plume pattern.
The diameter is 119mm and the height 21mm.
The base markings show the item has a design copyright date of 2006 with the 'Racquet' year cypher showing 2007 as the actual year of production. The base markings also show the pin dish was a 2007 Moorcroft Collectors Club item.
The pin dish has been closely inspected and assessed as in excellent condition with just a couple of quite indistinguishable crazing lines. The box is also in excellent condition.
Emma Bossons who designed this Lily Plume pattern joined Moorcroft at age 20 and quickly became a highly successful designer. She went on to become a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts and her designs are now widely collected.
This pin dish is available online only however if visiting the Antiques Centre based in York please visit Cabinet 138 situated on the Lower Ground Floor to view a selection of Moorcroft pottery from early vintage pieces to more modern examples.
