A rare and fine Cased pair of Officer's 15 Bore Percussion Belt Pistols by the famous makers Charles and Henry Egg (1839 - 1850) of 1 Piccadily, London. Sons of Joseph Egg. Each with 11cm blued steel octagonal barrel, signed on the top flat, with foliate engraved barrel tang, hammer and rounded action, belt clip and swivel steel ramrod. The walnut chequered grip with steel engraved cap box to the butt. In a fitted burr walnut wood case, the brown velvet lined interior fitted with accessories comprising a bullet mould, a rosewood handled turnscrew, a brass combination flask, an oil bottle a rosewood barrel shaped cap box and a rosewood handled cleaning rod with brass jag, case c/w key.
