This rare "Floride" perfume bottle was a design of Marc Lalique, René's son, and dates to c1956. It is moulded clear crystal set with deep purple dots. We believe that the bottle with alternative colour dots was also released. The design is no longer in production.
The base of the bottle is block capitals etched "Lalique France".
The perfume bottle stands 15.5 cm (6.1") tall including the stopper. At its widest, the bottle measures 9 cm (3.5") in diameter. The dots are each 1.2 cm (.5") in diameter. All measurements are approximate
The perfume bottle is in very good condition. There is some shelf wear scratching to the base, commensurate with age and usage. There is also what appears to be a chip off one of the purple dots set in the stopper … there is no evidence of any other damage around this "dot", and as it is set below the surface of the surrounding area, one wonders how it got damaged, or whether it was like that when it was made.
