Lalique vase in the Dampierre design.
The Dampierre design features a clear glass urn shaped vase on a pedestal base, with a continuous frieze of satin finish moulding of alternating sparrows and vines round the middle.
"Lalique ® France" is engraved to the base.
The design by Marc Lalique, Rene's son, dates to 1948. The design is still in production. This example is of later production.
The vase measures 11.5 cm (4.5") in diameter across the top, 6.5 cm (2.5") in diameter across the foot and stands 12 cm (4.75") tall.
The vase weighs a substantial 1060g / 2.3lb.
All measurements are approximate.
The vase is in good condition. There is minimal shelf wear scratching to the base. The vase is presented in its original box, though this is a little tatty.
