Interesting Victorian ring crafted in 9ct yellow gold and having a curved piece of onyx mounted at the front with a fancy initial S mounted with old rose diamonds. The mount has fancy shoulders and is engraved under the head with a contemporary message "From Fred to ED" The onyx section of the ring measures 18mm x 14mm. Please note the onyx has a few nibbles and abrasions. The shank tapers to 4.7mm at base and is on flat design leading to the ridged, scrolled shoulders, finger size T. Gross weight 8.1g. No hallmark but tested and believed to be dated Circa 1890.
