This is a mid Victorian Aspic Mould, made of copper and then tinned on the inside.
This may look like a ducks beak, but in the book from A B Marshall it is shown as a Tongue.
This is small 4 inches (10cm) long and just over an inch deep.
This mould has no splits or holes, in very good condition.
This mould is marked on the end as being retailed by A B Marshall of Mortimer Street.
Dates to around 1880, these were sold in large sets so you could create spectacular displays.
