A pair of sculptural armchairs designed by John Makepeace OBE and Ann Sutton MBE circa 1974. Two of the only four that were made, the other pair reside in a private art collection.
Provenance: Made for the architect David Landaw, the chairs were a development of ones John Makepeace had made for the CEO at Reuters.
Measurements: 99.5 cm high; 94.5 cm wide; 86.5 cm deep.
Condition: Good condition. No damage to fabric tubes, structurally sound, professionally cleaned by a specialist in antique and delecate fabrics, light marking and wear consistent with age and use.
