Original Edwardian solid Nickel brass Basin taps ,highly polished and restored with porcelain inserts which read :Shanks & Co Patentees
The taps are very good quality they are solid Nickel sometimes called white brass made sometime between 1920 to 1940 and still work perfectly I wouldn't be surprised if they were still working in another 100 years.
The taps do have marks and scratches but this can be expected due to age, if not polished will tarnish over time, supplied with 2 replacement rubber washers ,it will take many years for them to wear down.
