A very nice early celtic iron spear head .
This item which dates to circa 100BC -100AD, is in fully conserved condition.
Of good proportions and with a good strong medial ridge to the centre of the blade this item would compliment any collection.
With some extinct decay to the tip and shaft this item is in good solid condition.
Found in excavations in Norfolk in the late 1970s .( Ex.Private Collection .)
Norfolk and east Anglia were the home of Boudica Iceni tribe that took on the might of Rome in ancient Britain.
As with all of my antiquities and coins this item comes complete with a certificate of authenticity.
