A very rare and fully conserved anglo saxon seax ( Fighting knife ) blade.
This item which dates to circa 5th-7th Century AD, is in fabulous allover condition .
Of good solid proportions this item would have had a simple wooden or bone grip in its day
and would have been used as a secondary weapon by its owner after a sword or spear.
Ex. Kent collection in the 1970s.
As with all of my antiquities and coins this item comes complete with a certificate of authenticity .
