An absolutely stunning and extremely large size ancient egyptian faience shabti figure.
This item which dates to circa 525 BC and from the late dynastic period is of truly majestic size and proportion.
It is a blue faience shabtis figure wearing a tripartite wig with arms folded holding a pick and hoe.
There is a basket over the left shoulder with hieroglyphs showing to the front panel on the legs.
It has an arm missing as shown which was done in antiquity , and old collection repair to the head as shown.
The damage sustained over its history however is totally irrelevant, as this piece is so interesting and rare, due to its scale and size.
Ex. Old English collection from chesterfield England formed in the 1920s.
As with all of my antiquities and coins this item comes complete with a certificate of authenticity .
