A very rare and seldom seen tudor period childs leather shoe.
This item which dates to circa the mid 16th century AD, is in remarkable condition .
It has a very carismatic hole in the toe which is likely the reason it was disguarded.
It was excavated from the river thames foreshore london in 1971 ,and this would account for the survival of the leather
